Baptised into Your death, I have died to sin and no longer have need of dwelling in its grime. Having now died to sin, I will be resurrected like You. In my Baptism You crucified my flesh to the cross—there they died with You, freeing me from sin. You have overcome death, and so through You I shall overcome. You live to God, and in my Baptism you make me dead to sin and alive to God. Therefore, grant me the grace and endurance not to obey the passions of my flesh. Help me to present myself to God for His righteousness to be shown. No longer am I under His Law, but His grace. No longer am I a slave to sin and disobedience, but a slave to God at His pleasure, serving the fruit of the Spirit (Gal. 5:22-23), who leads me to sanctification.
